PSHE education at Raynham Primary school is the subject where children and young people gain the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to maintain happy, healthy lives, now and in the future. As well as promoting ‘British Values’, PSHE education develops the qualities needed to succeed and thrive as individuals, families and members of society.

Our teaching of PSHE supports the development of physically, emotionally and socially healthy young people. It also supports the development of essential employability skills for the 21st Century, reduce or remove barriers to learning, such as bullying, low self-esteem, unhealthy/risky behaviours that equip young people to keep themselves and others safe. PSHE promotes the wellbeing, spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of our pupils, as well as preparing them for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life.
